Designed for select 2017-2021 BMW 230i, 330i, and 430i applications across the F22, F23, F30, F31, F32, F33, F34, and F36 chassis families, this carbon fiber intake uses a semi-open airbox lid with an additional sound port for a more pronounced sporty intake note. Dinan reports gains of up to 6 HP and 6 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 RPM on a completely stock vehicle.

The system improves on the factory intake with a 30% larger airbox, 34% more filter area, an optimized carbon fiber intake tube, and a free-flowing Air Mass Meter housing more than 20% larger than stock. Dinan also eliminates the factory intake tube baffling and Helmholtz chamber, reducing airflow disruption while allowing more natural turbo and induction sound to be heard. The semi-open design is intended for drivers who want greater sound than Dinan's closed-box version while retaining the intake's carbon fiber construction and performance-focused design.
