Building a small-block Chevy 350/LT1 means choosing the bore, stroke and rotating components as a combination. Eagle Competition assembly 12311L060 supplies a 360ci package based on a 4.060-inch bore and 3.480-inch stroke. A forged 4340 steel crankshaft works with 6.000-inch forged 4340 H-beam rods secured by 7/16-inch ARP8740 bolts. The kit includes forged 4032 ICON flat top pistons with a crown volume of -3.7 cc. Plasma-moly standard gap rings and King XP rod and main bearings are included.
For a competition build using nitrous or forced induction, this kit combines the forged rotating parts with rings and bearings in one package. Choose the cylinder heads, fuel and compression ratio to suit your intended use. Professional balancing is required before assembly to match the crankshaft to the pistons, rods and other rotating and reciprocating components. A damper and flexplate or flywheel are not included.
