Exergy System Saver Metering Valve for 2011-2025 F-250, F-350 Super Duty - E05-40105

The Exergy Performance E05-40105 System Saver Inlet Metering Valve is designed for 2011-2025 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine. Also known as an FCA or MPROP, this upgraded metering valve starts with a new Bosch inlet metering valve and replaces the factory single-layer 85-micron plastic-framed screen with Exergy’s stainless steel framed, dual-layer 10-micron filtration design. The finer screen is intended to provide additional protection for high-pressure fuel system components if debris is generated by a CP4.2 pump failure.

Exergy reports that, based on injector sets tested from fuel systems that experienced CP4.2 pump failures with a System Saver installed, injector survivability appeared to increase by more than 85% compared with failures using the factory screen. The stainless steel screen frame is also designed to resist failure if debris accumulates and creates a restriction.

The E05-40105 can also be used when replacing an inlet metering valve due to traditional valve-related issues such as idle surge or excessive fuel rail pressure fluctuations. It directly replaces Bosch part numbers 0 928 400 779 and 0 928 400 757, as well as Ford part number BC3Z9J307A.
