GARRETT INTERCOOLER INSTALL ON 2022 HPP MUSTANG ECOBOOST
I bought this intercooler because of Garrett's reputation, the information on their website and eliteracefab had a price that I couldn't pass up. The intercooler arrived within a few days of being ordered. Packing is excellent, the intercooler arrived undamaged. I changed out the intercooler on my 2022 HPP in my garage, it took 6 hours. The front bumper cover has to be removed to get the larger Garrett intercooler up in place. There is a foam seal between the top of the stock intercooler, radiator and AC exaporator that is tight. The top of the Garrett intercooler is 1/2” too low. No problem, ½ pipe foam rubber insulation from the hardware store sealed the deal. Trimming back the plastic shrouding blocking airflow though the intercooler was easy.
