The Garrett GTX2860R Gen II Supercore turbocharger is part of the high-performance GTX Gen II series—engineered for racing applications that demand faster boost response, broader horsepower range, and enhanced efficiency. Retaining the proven GT-series foundation, this Gen II upgrade incorporates forged fully-machined compressor wheels with refined aerodynamics, ceramic dual ball bearings, and an improved ported shroud for surge resistance.
This Supercore is oil and water-cooled, designed for use with an external wastegate setup, and optimized for engines ranging from 1.4L to 2.5L displacement, supporting horsepower output between 200 to 475 HP depending on build and tuning.
