Aggressive with cabin drone
2019 Tundra The sound is nice, aggressive, sounds better and better as RPMs climb. I get compliments upon start and idle. At about 1800 RPM there is a decent drone in the cabin. One I can handle with the windows open and music playing. However, it has proven to be too much for guests and sometimes when pulling a camper. Installation was easy laying in the driveway. Pay special attention to how you assemble it before you tighten everything down (as it says in directions) this still needs emphasis or it will leak. Also, do not over tighten the u-bolts or these will bend the pipe too far and cause a leak as well. You may want to consider some exhaust sealant as part of your install. This last piece may be unique to my setup. After the install I had some crazy annoying squeaking that I could not pinpoint. Troubleshooting this led me to the exhaust hangers. Sure enough they were creating a high pitched squeak over very small bumps. Greasing them up with dielectric or silicone did help just permanently. I am going to replace the exhaust hangers. (66k miles on the truck) Overall, if you want a noticeable aggressive sound from your Tundra this does it. If drone is an absolute no for you try something else. Thanks for your time. -Brandon
