Description

The Girodisc A1-154 Front Iron Rotor Conversion is engineered for Porsche owners looking to replace factory PCCB ceramic brakes with a high-performance iron rotor system. Designed for the Porsche 911 GT3, GT3 RS, GT2 RS (991), and 718 Cayman GT4 RS originally equipped with PCCB, this setup delivers superior thermal stability, expanded brake pad options, and improved serviceability for aggressive street and track use.

Unlike OEM ceramic rotors, the Girodisc system uses a motorsports-grade iron rotor paired with a lightweight aluminum hat and a fully floating mounting system. This conversion is designed to use the same brake pad shape as factory iron-equipped 991 GT3 models, reducing rotor mass while allowing far greater pad compound availability. Once installed, only the cast iron rotor rings need to be replaced, significantly lowering long-term maintenance costs. Sold and priced as a front pair.
