This Gen II intake replaces the factory air filter and intake tube with a black roto-molded high-density polyethylene intake tube and an oversized oiled red cotton gauze air filter to help increase airflow, horsepower, torque and engine sound. K&N reports estimated gains of up to 9.88 horsepower and 12.4 lb-ft of torque, while the washable filter only requires cleaning every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions.
