The K&N 57-3047 57 Series FIPK Cold Air Intake is designed for select 2004-2005 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 models with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine. This Gen II intake replaces the factory air filter and intake tube with a black roto-molded HDPE intake tube and an oversized oiled red cotton gauze air filter for increased airflow, horsepower and torque. Engineered for high airflow with exceptional filtration, the washable filter only requires cleaning every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions and installation can typically be completed in 60 minutes or less with simple hand tools.
