Disappointing – Metal Is Way Too Thin and Wobbly
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with these Black-Coated Ditch Light Brackets. The biggest issue is that the metal is simply too thin and not rigid enough for this application. The brackets already start wobbling at around 15 mph, so I can only imagine how much movement and vibration there would be at normal highway speeds. For a ditch light mount, I expected something much more solid and sturdy. I had ZROADZ ditch light brackets on my previous Ram, and they were very good and thicker, stronger, and more stable. Unfortunately, ZROADZ doesn't currently make a compatible bracket for the new Ram RHO. I'll definitely have to return these and wait for a newer version made from thicker, more rigid metal. The overall idea and fitment may be good, but the material is just too flimsy.
