For 35X10.00-15, the listed overall diameter is 34.3 in. and the tread width is 9.9 in.; these measured figures help compare fender clearance and the actual working tread. It is approved for 7.0–8.5 in. wheel widths and a 8.0 in. measuring rim. The 11.7 in. section width describes the casing at its widest point, which is different from tread width.
