R1 Rear Semi-Metallic Brake Pad Kit 2311-1469-01 is engineered for select 2011-2019 BMW 640I Coupe, 550I and additional listed models. This R1 Semi-Metallic Series kit uses a durable semi-metallic friction formulation designed for dependable daily braking, consistent wear and strong performance in colder operating conditions. Integrally molded, scorched friction material works with rubber-steel-rubber noise-control shim construction, a friction underlayer and positive molding to support reliable street braking. Application-specific mounting hardware is included; hardware reference HK1-32001SS, HK1-32001 applies to this kit. Wear sensor reference BPS-31052 (1), BPS-31070 (1) is listed separately for this application.

R1 Semi-Metallic Series Brake Pads are designed as durable, value-focused replacement pads for daily-driven passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks. The semi-metallic friction formulation provides consistent braking performance, dependable wear resistance and strong heat-handling characteristics, making the series especially well suited to everyday driving and colder operating conditions. The copper-free, 100% asbestos-free formulation is engineered to provide reliable braking while remaining rotor friendly.

R1 Semi-Metallic pads use integrally molded friction material with rubber-steel-rubber noise-control shim construction, a friction underlayer, positive molding and scorched friction surfaces. Pad shapes are slotted and chamfered where applicable. This brake pad kit includes application-specific mounting hardware; exact pad quantity, wear-sensor requirements and brake position vary by vehicle and should always be matched to the individual R1 part number.
