R1 Ceramic Brake Pads Series:

R1 Ceramic Series Brake Pads are engineered for quiet, low-dust and smooth daily braking in passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks. The Ceramic Series is designed to provide dependable everyday brake response while remaining rotor friendly, with a low-copper and 100% asbestos-free formulation.

R1 Ceramic pads use integrally molded friction material with rubber-steel-rubber noise-control shim construction, a friction underlayer, positive molding and scorched friction surfaces. Pad shapes are slotted and chamfered where applicable. Exact friction composition, pad quantity, mounting-hardware requirements, wear-sensor requirements and brake position vary by application and should always be matched to the individual R1 part number.
