Description

The Rust Buster RB7818L Mid Frame Repair Kit is designed for the left (driver) side of 2001-2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with standard cab configurations. (For Crew Cab and Extended Cab models, see RB7804.) This repair section caps the frame from the side with no cutting required, restoring strength while simplifying installation.

Manufactured from heavy-duty 7-gauge steel, the RB7818L measures 42.5 inches in length and features OE-style holes for precise fitment. Integrated perforations allow installation without removing the rear cab mount or transmission crossmember when applicable. The kit includes new Class 10.9 hardware and ships with an oil protective coating to help prevent oxidation during transit. For long-term corrosion protection, Rust Buster recommends finishing the repair with Rust Buster Rust Converter Paint RB9917. Welding is required. Backed by Rust Buster’s Lifetime Warranty.
