The Full-Size Pickup ShurTrax with Accessory Kit helps you be prepared for the unexpected. The Full-Size Pickup ShurTrax adds approximately 400 lbs. (182 kg) of traction-boosting weight to the bed of your truck. Not only does it come with a 6-piece set of heavy-duty rubber tarp straps (2 x 15”/38 cm, 2 x 21”/53 cm, and 2 x 31”/79 cm) to secure your ShurTrax in place, it also includes a spare filler cap and plug, and a Patch Kit for emergency repairs, as well as the Perfect Siphon Pump and Super Union Water Connection Fitting.
Improve your handling and control in all road conditions from spring rains to winter snow with the added weight of the ShurTrax All-Weather Traction Weight. The Full-Size Pickup ShurTrax traction weight is designed to fit in the truck bed of almost any full-size pickup (60” x 56” x 3” / 152 x 142 x 7.5 cm, with 48” / 122 cm between wheel wells). Simply place in your truck bed, secure in place with 4 tarp straps, and fill with up to 50 gallons (189 L) of water to add up to approximately 400 lbs. (182 kg) of weight right where it is needed the most: over the rear wheels. Reduce axle and wheel hop, and enjoy a smoother ride, easier acceleration, and better handling in all conditions.
ShurTrax offers a safer and cleaner alternative to dangerous and messy loose tubes of sand, bags of salt, cement blocks, or cord wood. In some states those loose weights are illegal because they can become projectiles in an emergency stop. ShurTrax super tough vinyl chamber is UV resistant and reinforced with a woven nylon mesh. That chamber encloses die-electrically welded baffles restrained with relief holes to prevent surging on cornering, stopping and starting.
Haul up to 500 lbs. (227 kg) on top of ShurTrax. (Take care not to puncture the vinyl, or add a sheet of plywood and just load up.) When you don’t need the extra weight, simply drain your ShurTrax and fold/roll it for easy storage. Elite Race Fab offers free ground shipping & handling to our retail customers within the lower 48 contiguous United States on most orders totaling $159.99 and higher, when the item being purchased is not a Freight/LTL item! Orders under $159.99 will be subject to a nominal $13.99 Flat shipping charge. Some exceptions and/or exclusions apply, in those scenarios you will be advised of any additional charges in the item details/description stating shipping exclussions/freight shipping required etc.
In regards to expedited and international shipping each order will need to be quoted on a case by case basis. You can obtain a quote two ways:
- From your shopping cart select "Request a Quote" prior to placing your order. We will review your proposed order and promptly respond with shipping estimates.
- Complete your order ahead of time indicating either expedited or international shipping during the checkout process. We will promptly determine shipping rates for your order and email you for approval and additional payment.
