Description

The Skunk2 Ultra Stage 1 Camshaft is engineered to unlock the hidden performance potential of the Honda K24Z7 2.4L DOHC engine, bringing cutting-edge valvetrain technology from Skunk2’s championship-winning racing heritage to street and track builds alike.

Each Ultra Series camshaft is precision CNC-ground from forged 8660 alloy steel blanks for superior strength and durability. The Stage 1 Drop-In profile allows enthusiasts to install these cams without requiring upgraded valve springs, maintaining reliability while providing substantial power gains. Designed and validated using advanced CAD modeling, simulation software, and dyno testing, these cams deliver dramatic increases in horsepower and torque throughout the rev range.

The Ultra Stage 1 camshafts are optimized for naturally aspirated setups, producing 20–30 HP gains, and can yield 50+ HP gains in forced induction applications. They also raise the engine’s powerband by approximately 1000 RPM, improving throttle response and mid-to-top-end pull—all while retaining drivability and smooth idle characteristics.
