This rack is securely mounted to the tire with 2 tie-down straps that go around your spare though the wheel and then the rack so there is no chance your strap will come loose or slip off the tire. This rack is rugged and ready when you are and easy to remove so that you can take it off when its not needed.

The side panels of the basket are removeable in case you need to transport something that exceeds the width or length of the basket.
