Description

1964-1972 GM A-Body Springs, Front, 1″ Lowering

The 4050F springs are stiffer than stock, providing increased performance, decreased body roll, and a lower center of gravity.

They are suitable for a variety of applications, including Auto-x, Pro-Tour, and corner carving/cruising.

These springs are engineered to lower the ride height by 1" for standard SBC, aluminum head and intake Big Block, Pontiac 400, and LS power applications.

 The tough black powder coat finish adds durability, and UMI proudly manufactures these high-quality springs in the USA.

Specifications

  • Consistent rates and premium materials (5160 CrSi premium wire)
  • Linear 530 lb/in rate for front springs
  • Stiffer than stock for increased performance with decreased body roll and lower center of gravity
  • Suitable for Auto-x and Pro-Tour applications, as well as corner carving/cruising
  • Engineered for a 1" lowering with certain engine types (SBC, aluminum head and intake Big Block, Pontiac 400, LS power)
  • May require trimming for lightened cars
  • Suitable for full weight Big Block applications when nose down rake is desired
  • Tough black powder coat finish
  • Made in the USA by UMI
  • Firm yet comfortable ride with incredible handling
