Description

Upgrade your GM C10 with these heavy-duty 2.5" drop spindles featuring a UMI satin black powder coat for ultimate durability and an enhanced aesthetic appeal. These robust spindles are engineered to be a direct bolt-in replacement, seamlessly accepting factory GM C10 bearings and brakes, making installation straightforward and hassle-free. However, it's important to note that if your brake rotors are 1", some hot rodding will be required as detailed below.

Designed specifically for the 1973-1980 GM C10 trucks, these spindles fit perfectly with 1-1/4" brake rotors. If you own a 1981-1987 model, you might find that it comes with 1" brake rotors. In such cases, you'll need to upgrade to the 1-1/4" rotors used on the earlier models to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

For your convenience, we have provided a list of GM-compatible part numbers below (parts not included) to facilitate this upgrade:

  • 18A2A AC Delco: Qty 2 Brake Hub/Rotor – 1.25” wide
  • 18FR640 AC Delco: Qty 1 Brake Caliper – Left Front 1.25” rotor
  • 18FR639 AC Delco: Qty 1 Brake Caliper – Right Front 1.25” rotor
  • Set 5 Timken: Qty 2 Inner Wheel Bearing – 1.375” I.D.
  • Set 3 Timken: Qty 2 Outer Wheel Bearing - 0.850” I.D.
  • 8871 Timken: Qty 2 Inner Bearing Seal
Fitment Note: Drop spindles require a 1.25" thick brake disc compared to the base 1"
