UMI’s F-body and G-body bump steer kit is specially designed to minimize toe change, also known as “bump steer”, during suspension travel. By reducing bump steer, this kit enhances handling and straight-line stability while increasing the precision of the steering system. Direct bolt-in kits allow for easy relocation of the outer tie rod end lower or higher than stock if needed, without the need for spindle drilling. The kit features a 4140 CrMo stud construction for strength and durability, while the adjuster is made of lightweight yet strong 6061-T6 Aluminum with a hard anodized protective finish. Each kit includes shims in various sizes to accommodate different setups. These bump steer kits are meticulously designed and manufactured in Philipsburg, PA, USA. For 1978-1988 G Body and 1982-1995 S10 vehicles, the kit uses a stock inner tie rod. For 1982-1992 F body vehicles, it also utilizes a stock inner tie rod.
