Description

1983-1992 GM F-Body Tubular Front Steering Brace

The 1983-1992 third generation steering brace, also known as the Wonder Bar, is designed to tie the front right and left subframe together.

This tubular set-up bolts directly under the front sway bar, stiffening the front frame for improved handling, cornering, and overall performance.

The steering brace strengthens the chassis, reducing stress on the steering box area which is a weak point in third generation F-Bodies.

Made of 0.250" 1018 mild steel CNC machined mounting points and 1.250" DOM steel tubing with a 0.120" wall, fully MIG welded for extreme strength and durability.

Installation: This brace is a direct bolt-on and requires no drilling. It bolts in place using OEM hardware and can be used with OEM sway bar bushings and aftermarket poly mounts. Installation typically takes around 20 minutes.
