The V-3 H67B uses Vortech's self-contained lubrication system, so no oil feed or drain connection between the engine oil pan and supercharger gear case is required. A remote fluid drain hose is attached to the supercharger to simplify supercharger fluid changes without removing the head unit from the vehicle.

Vortech developed the H67B compressor stage specifically for the FA20 Boxer platform. Its centrifugal compressor uses a 5-axis machined billet impeller and high-diffusion housing designed around high adiabatic efficiency. By reducing the amount of heat generated while compressing the intake air, the design is intended to reduce parasitic drive requirements while delivering efficient airflow across the operating range.

The integrated air-to-air charge-cooling system uses an oversized cooler core and aluminum charge tubing to reduce intake-air temperatures after compression while minimizing pressure loss. Heat-resistant silicone couplers and stainless steel clamps connect the discharge plumbing, while CNC-machined billet mounting brackets provide a rigid installation and a clean, factory-style engine-bay appearance.

Vortech also incorporates a dedicated airbox and filter housing designed for additional airflow while retaining the vehicle's factory cold-air ram intake. Quick-release fasteners provide convenient access to the included reusable high-flow air filter for servicing and cleaning.

The installer or vehicle tuner is responsible for selecting the appropriate fueling and custom calibration for the specific vehicle, fuel, modifications, and intended power level.
