Wilwood’s TX6R Tactical Extreme Big Brake Rear Kit delivers unmatched braking performance for heavy-duty trucks, SUVs, and armored vehicles. Designed specifically for the 2011–2019 GM 2500HD platform, this kit features massive GT-series rotors and high-strength TX6R six-piston calipers engineered to handle extreme braking loads, sustained high heat, towing, hauling, and aggressive off-road use.
The kit includes 15.50” GT-series directional vane Spec-37 alloy rotors, 6-piston black powder-coat TX6R calipers, and precision-machined radial-mount brackets. The system is fully volume-matched for compatibility with factory master cylinder and power brake systems. This rear kit replaces the factory rear disc brakes while retaining the OE parking brake assembly, making it the ideal complement to Wilwood front big brake upgrades.
Engineered for maximum durability and control, the TX6R kit provides significantly improved stopping power, fade resistance, thermal stability, and performance under heavy load or high-speed operation.
